My role at Independent Adult Day Centers is to oversee the clinical operations throughout the centers and to guide our Health Care Coordination team. As a medical professional it is my utmost joy to serve others. My goal as a healthcare provider is to give out guests and family members autonomy and confidence in their healthcare decisions and outcomes. I have worked in the medical field for 9 years and each day is better than the last. For the first part of my career was in the prehospital setting as an EMT/Paramedic. I worked for a private and critical care service ambulance companies until I obtained my nursing degree.
As a nurse I started my career in acute care in the emergency department and have since transitioned into the adult day environment. I have certifications in TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course), IP (Infection Preventionist), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and have several FEMA certifications for disaster preparedness. As a nurse I have a passion for, Clinical Education, Infection Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Process Improvement initiatives. I have degrees from IUPUI, Harrison College, and National American University all in healthcare.
