Jay Lugosch is the President of Independent Adult Day Centers. He started the company in 2017 with his father Dan Lugosch. Their vision was to create a best-in-class alternative to institutional and residential options for seniors and other adults who need additional care. Jay grew up outside of Boston, MA and earned his Bachelors in Arts and Sciences from Middlebury College in Vermont where he doubled-majored in Classics and Economics and earned a varsity letter as on Offensive Lineman for the 2001 NESCAC co-champion Football Team. Jay has also worked in commercial real estate and banking and earned a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Fordham University where he received a commendation for Outstanding Research from the CFA Institute and was awarded Student of the Year by the Fordham Wall Street Council.
“A big part of what inspired us to start the company was challenges we experienced in finding good care for our own family. One of our guiding principles in setting up how we do things has always been to ask ourselves, “Is this what I would want for my loved one?””
Jay moved to Indianapolis from the New York City area in 2018 with his wife Michele and their school-aged sons Joseph and Charlie. When he is not busy at work, Jay enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and their dog Cisco.
