IADC has been reaccredited for another three years through CARF

(the highest accreditation level)!

CARF found IADC demonstrated highest marks in numerous areas, including:

• The leadership team is clearly dedicated and passionate about the organization’s mission, services, and guests. A guest-centered perspective is deeply ingrained in both clinical and administrative staff members, and it is clear that leadership puts guests first in all of its decision making.

• Leadership approaches all aspects of the organization from an improvement mindset and a commitment to doing better than the industry standard.

• Referral sources spoke highly of IADC, appreciating its smaller size and terrific culture that feels like family to the guests. They also praised the organization for its innovative data approaches and its ability to be quick and nimble when trying something new. They noted that staff members are good communicators and responsive to feedback. They also appreciate that IADC serves a hot breakfast and lunch, which most other providers do not offer. They value the variety of activities available to the guests and the fact that the organization provides bathing and toileting services.

• The centers are clean, accessible, and have a welcoming atmosphere.

• The Child and Adult Care Food program is a complimentary service to the adult day services program. Several caregivers said that this sets IADC apart from other services in the area. The food is healthy and nutritious, and several guests mentioned that they really enjoy it.

• IADC is commended for its commitment to guests’ nights and the frequency with which they are reviewed. These rights are discussed verbally in weekly conversations and posted throughout the centers.

• Family members were extremely complimentary of adult day services. They noted the frequency and variety of activities and that the outings were enjoyable for the guests. One parent shared that they toured nine other locations and chose IADC because of its kind, professional, and flexible approach.

• The variety of funding and payment options for services is a strength for IADC. The diversity of options allows for the guests’ integration into the community.

• Staff members are clearly dedicated and passionate about their work. Each is knowledgeable of the guests’ needs, likes, and interests.

• The guests noted that the services were fun and enjoyable. One guest commented that the services were “lifesaving,” mentioning a medical emergency that was identified by the nurse. She continues to be extremely grateful for the staff members.
