Other Services

When you partner with Independent Adult Day Centers, you’ll appreciate the attentive care we provide your loved ones. We understand that it takes time and patience to be a caregiver. You want to be there to provide care for your loved one, but we understand it’s not always possible due to other obligations. Furthermore, your loved one can often benefit from services such as medical care or organized activities that you are not able to provide directly. Our adult day centers are designed to provide as much of that care as possible.

Our services don’t stop at our centers. We provide several in-home services that can assist your loved one outside of our center hours. In addition to the adult day centers, we also offer Home Care, Home Health Care, and Healthcare Coordination services to your loved ones. Keep reading to learn more about our services, and then contact Independent Adult Day Centers to schedule an appointment.

Home Care

Home Care is a non-medical home care service that is available on an ongoing basis to help with Activities of Daily Living. Our caregivers put your loved one’s needs first. They provide peace of mind knowing that your loved one is being attended to with the utmost care and attention at times you are not there.

Our in-home caregivers can assist with everyday needs such as dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, errands, meal prepping, and more. Our attendants work closely with your loved one and your family to create a personalized care plan and communicate updates about their condition and well-being.

Home Care is typically provided to those with chronic conditions and/or those that need assistance on a long-term basis. Home Care is covered by the Medicaid Waiver, long-term care insurance, or can be privately paid for.

Healthcare Coordination

Aging adults and those with chronic conditions often have many doctor’s appointments, take several medications to manage their conditions, and may require special equipment. IADC offers Healthcare Coordination Services to make these tasks easier to manage. Our Healthcare Coordination team can provide transportation to and from doctor’s appointments and accompany them to their appointments. Our coordinators will advocate for your loved one and relay health information back to their families.

Healthcare Coordinators can pick up medications and help manage them for your loved one. They also keep track of follow-up appointments, lab tests, and evaluations. If your loved one needs additional care as prescribed by a physician, the Healthcare Coordination team will align your family with additional resources, providers, and equipment based on their needs.

Home Health Care

An individual may require Home Health Care following an injury or illness and is often part of a patient’s discharge plan from a hospital or skilled nursing/rehab facility. Home Health Care offers skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy services in Marion County & the seven surrounding counties. Home Health Care can be utilized in combination with our other services to best support your loved one.

Continuum Of Care Services Offered by IADC

When your loved one is a part of the IADC community, you aren’t limited to only one service. Our services work in tandem to create a Continuum of Care plan. More than half of the individuals who attend one of our three locations receive more than one service, whether it’s Home Care for weekends, Healthcare Coordination to manage doctor’s appointments, or Home Health Care services to make sure they’re receiving the medical care they need from the comfort of their homes. The unique IADC Continuum of Care services supports the ability for your loved one to remain at home as long as possible.
